The E-Motiv demonstrator is an electric motorcycle fitted with our 2-speed powershift transmission. It is under construction now, with design, engineering and prototype development by Envisage Group and vehicle integration at IAAPS, the University of Bath’s propulsion research and innovation facility at the Bristol & Bath Science Park.
Why build a demonstrator
A working motorcycle lets us evaluate how powershift behaves in a real vehicle: how shifts feel, how the transmission packages and how it suits different riding. It also gives OEMs and partners something concrete to ride and assess.
Test rides
Completion is targeted for January 2027, and demonstrator test rides can be booked for that month. Get in touch to arrange an appointment.
