What we collect
When you submit an enquiry through this site, we collect:
Your name
Your company or organisation name
Your email address
The enquiry type you select (OEM / vehicle application, engineering / technical, commercial / partnership, investor / strategic, media / PR, or general enquiry)
The content of your message
We don’t collect any other personal information through this form, and we don’t use tracking or profiling on submitted enquiries.
Separately, we use Framer’s built-in analytics to count visits to this site in aggregate, for example which pages are viewed and from which country. It does not use cookies and is designed not to identify individual visitors. See our Cookie information for details.
Why we collect it, and our legal basis
We use this information solely to respond to your enquiry and, where relevant, to route it to the right team at E-Motiv. Our legal basis for this is legitimate interests. Specifically, our interest (and yours) in being able to reply to enquiries you’ve chosen to send us.
We do not use enquiry submissions for marketing purposes, and we will not add you to any mailing list from this form without your separate, explicit agreement.
Who we share it with
Your enquiry is handled internally by E-Motiv staff responsible for the relevant enquiry type.
We use Framer (Framer B.V., based in the Netherlands) to host this website and handle enquiry form submissions on our behalf. Framer acts as our service provider and may only use your information to provide that service.
We do not sell or share your information with third parties for their own marketing purposes.
Where your data is stored
Enquiry data may be processed and stored outside the UK since website hosting and form infrastructure can be based internationally.
Our website and enquiry form are provided by Framer, which hosts the site on Amazon Web Services. Your enquiry may therefore be processed in the UK, the European Economic Area or the United States. Where information is transferred outside the UK, it is protected by recognised safeguards: the EU-US Data Privacy Framework and its UK extension where the recipient is certified, or otherwise standard contractual clauses with the UK International Data Transfer Addendum.
How long we keep it
We retain enquiry submissions for 12 months from last contact, after which they are deleted, unless a longer period is needed to progress an ongoing discussion with you.
Your rights
Under UK data protection law, you have the right to:
Ask for a copy of the personal information we hold about you
Ask us to correct inaccurate information
Ask us to delete your information
Object to our processing of your information
Ask us to restrict how we use your information
To exercise any of these rights, contact us here
You also have the right to complain to the UK’s data protection regulator, the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO), if you’re unhappy with how we’ve handled your information.
